This was anti-aliased 4:1. Here is another example of the contrasting bands that the arctan Transform makes. This one is a little different as the bands have alot of details in them. I'm sure there's some name for this kind of design style. I found this image after zooming quite a bit into an image that initially looked like a pile of treasure in an underwater cave.
