Another deep zoom from a rough area in a Phoenix Julia. This really shows how valuable the random palette generator in Xaos is. I couldn't have produced such a sophisticated color scheme myself. There is a misty glow from the roots in the lower left which appears to be reflected off the the tangled tentacles in the upper right.
